Assistant Manager - Financial Data & Analytics

As an Assistant Manager – Financial Data & Analytics, you will support management reporting, performance analysis, and business forecasting. You will play a central role in developing scalable data structures, financial models, and reporting dashboards that enhance performance visibility and enable informed decision-making across the organization. Collaborating closely with accounting and business teams, you will help digitize and streamline financial processes while also contributing to traditional FP&A responsibilities such as forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain clear, accurate, and scalable financial models using Excel and advanced automation techniques
• Develop data structures, processes, and automated workflows to enhance visibility of company performance metrics
• Collect and analyse financial and business data from internal and external sources
• Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and visualizations with Power BI and other business intelligence tools
• Contribute to the conceptual design of financial and data models, workflows, and reporting logic
• Prepare targeted analyses and evaluations using financial and operational data to support management’s decision-making and strategic planning
• Support team members by assisting with routine tasks and data preparation activities, ensuring smooth execution of daily operations

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in business administration, finance, economics, mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience
• At least three years of professional experience with exposure to both finance and data analytics, process automation, or business intelligence (not necessarily all at the same time)
• Experience in a start-up, management consultancy, or other dynamic environment is a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting statements and financial modeling
• Strong skills in Excel, including advanced functions and VBA automation
• Experience with Python or other programming languages is a plus
• Experience working with SQL databases, including writing advanced queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Good understanding of data structures and their application in organizing and optimizing financial data
• Experience with infrastructure as code and data orchestration tools such as Terraform, Dagster, DltHub, DBT, or similar tools is a plus
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for dashboard creation, maintenance, data visualization, and reporting
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail, with a self-starter mindset able to work independently in a dynamic environment using a structured, solution-oriented approach
