Job Summary:


Assistant Manager Finance MIS


Key Responsibilities:


MIS Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering sales, expenses, profitability, and key financial metrics.
  • Consolidate financial data from various departments to provide accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts to identify key business drivers.
  • Develop customized financial dashboards and trackers for business performance monitoring.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts in coordination with business and finance teams.
  • Track budget utilization and highlight deviations with insights for corrective actions.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Support strategic planning and financial modeling for business reviews.
  • Provide inputs for cost optimization, margin improvement, and working capital efficiency.

Data Management & Reconciliation:

  • Ensure data integrity across systems (ERP, Excel, MIS templates).
  • Reconcile MIS data with trial balance and financial statements to ensure accuracy.

Automation & Process Improvement:

  • Streamline MIS processes through automation and standardization.
  • Support implementation of BI tools and ERP enhancements for better reporting efficiency.

Management Support:

  • Prepare reports and presentations for management reviews, audits, and board meetings.
  • Liaise with internal departments for financial insights and business performance summaries.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in finance reporting, MIS, or FP&A functions.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros)

    and

    Power BI / Tableau

    preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as

    SAP, Tally ERP, Oracle, or Navision

    .
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large data sets.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA (Inter), CMA, or MBA (Finance) qualification preferred.
  • Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or E-commerce sectors.
  • Exposure to data visualization, automation tools, and dashboard creation.
