Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounts Payable & Bill Processing: Verify, code, and process vendor invoices in compliance with company policies. Ensure timely payment of supplier dues and maintain relationships with vendors. Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted. 2. Employee Reimbursements: Process employee reimbursement claims (travel, mobile, other allowances) with proper documentation and approvals. Ensure timely disbursement and resolve discrepancies or policy violations. 3. Petty Cash Management: Maintain and monitor petty cash expenses. Review and reconcile petty cash vouchers, ensure proper approvals and documentation. Conduct periodic audits of petty cash balances. 4. Cash MIS & Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and update daily/weekly cash flow statements and MIS reports. Track fund utilization and highlight variances. Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. 5. General Accounting & Support: Assist with journal entries, ledger maintenance, and monthly closing activities. Support in statutory audits and internal controls. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Assist with TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent). 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. Good understanding of taxation, vendor payment cycles, and reimbursement procedures. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
