Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

. Trade Finance & Banking Operations

• Assist in LC (Letter of Credit), BG (Bank Guarantee), import/export documentation, and trade finance transactions.
• Liaise with banks to negotiate competitive terms and ensure seamless execution of trade finance operations in line with RBI guidelines.

3. CMA & Banking Compliance

• Prepare CMA data, projections, and financial packages for banks and financial institutions.
• Monitor loan covenants, compliances, and coordinate with lenders for timely submissions and renewals.
• Complying with day-to-day banking requirements like stock statements, stock audits and routine banking operations related to loans
• Liaison with banks for renewal of existing facilities, appraisal of project finance requirements, documentation, compliance, and ongoing discussions to ensure timely sanction.

4. Working Capital Management

• Support optimization of working capital by analyzing inventory, receivables, and payables cycles.

5. Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and periodic financial performance summaries.
• Conduct ratio analysis and sector/industry benchmarking in line with RBI requirements.

6. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in annual budgeting, cost control activities, and long-term financial planning.
• Track budgeted vs. actual performance and highlight key deviations.

7. Project Finance Support (Preferred)

• Assist in preparation of project finance proposals, documentation, and coordination with banks/NBFCs.
• Support in managing and tracking project finance loans > INR 25 Cr (preferred experience).

Qualifications & Experience

• MBA (Finance) or M.Com from a reputed institution
  (Inter CA candidates with strong relevant experience may also apply)

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in:

• Corporate/Business Finance
• Trade Finance (LC/BG)
• CMA preparation
• Banking & treasury operations
• Working capital management
• Strong analytical, numerical, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, tools, and MS Office.
• Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across teams and banks.
