Senior Chartered Accountant

Job Title: Senior Chartered Accountant / Head Finance & Accounts

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, cost management, and financial planning.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS / IFRS).
• Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for management decision-making.

2. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements Direct & Indirect Taxes, Companies Act, and other regulatory norms.
• Liaise with auditors (internal, statutory, and tax auditors) and ensure timely audit closure.
• Monitor changes in laws and accounting standards and implement necessary updates.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures.
• Analyze product costing, inventory valuation, and production variances.
• Support management in achieving operational efficiency and profitability targets.

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage working capital, fund flow, and banking operations effectively.
• Handle relationships with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities.
• Optimize cash management and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

5. Strategic & Business Support

• Provide financial insights for business expansion, project evaluation, and investment decisions.
• Support leadership in strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives.
• Drive automation and digitalization of accounting and reporting processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory

• Experience:

  Minimum

  15 years of post-qualification experience

  , preferably in

  manufacturing / industrial

  sector
• Strong understanding of

  costing, taxation, financial controls, and ERP systems

• Exposure to

  international operations

  or

  multi-location accounts

  will be an added advantage

• Hands-on experience with ERP (SAP / Oracle / Tally Prime)
• Sound knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
