Assistant Manager – Creative Designer
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Proposal Support Designer – Assistant Manager to join our Growth enablement team supporting the APAC region. In this role, you’ll be helping shape impactful visual solutions across a wide range of business needs—from compelling client proposals to branded communications and marketing assets.This role requires you to provide creative direction, oversee design execution, and guide a team of high-performing designers to bring complex business ideas to life through impactful visual design, ensuring every proposal and presentation is visually engaging, on brand, and compelling. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Leadership
- Partner with stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate them into effective visual outputs.
- Translate business content into clear, visually compelling proposal documents and presentations.
- Ensure consistency with Deloitte’s brand standards across all formats (PDFs, PPTs, infographics, etc)
- Provide design direction and feedback to ensure creative excellence and brand consistency.
- Work closely with the Creative Manager/other to maintain design quality, workflows, and innovation.
Project Management
- Oversee, manage and execute multiple pursuit projects—ensuring timelines, business needs, expectations and quality standards are met.
- Manage end-to-end proposal design projects, collaborate closely with bid teams, marketers, and stakeholders across geographies.
- Prioritise and allocate tasks effectively to balance team workloads and project priorities.
- Reporting and archiving of day-to-day activities and maintaining periodical data.
Team Development
- Mentor and coach the team by providing feedback and supporting skill development.
- Encourage and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-focused team culture.
- Support performance reviews and contribute to hiring decisions as needed.
Compliance & Confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality, data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
- Promote best practices in data quality, governance, and ethical data use.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic/Visual Design, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in graphic/visual design (preferably in pursuits and bids), including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior designer role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print design work.
- Experience working with international teams or clients (preferably in professional services or consulting).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance creativity and business needs.
- Maintain high ethical standards and a client-focused mindset even under pressure and tight deadlines.
