About the Role

The role involves managing tax compliance and ensuring accurate financial reporting related to TDS and other tax obligations.

Responsibilities

• Monthly TDS payment computation and compliance
• Verification of monthly tax deduction from employee salaries
• Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS/TCS returns
• Quarterly & Annual issuance of Form 16A, Form 27D and Form 16
• Verification of Full & Final settlement files for accurate tax calculation and deduction
• Verification and system updation of new joiner income details & perquisites income
• Investment declaration verification for tax deduction purposes
• Handling and compliance of Income Tax notices
• Verification of CAPEX vouchers submitted by the team
• Follow-up on project vendor advances with project functions
• Monitoring GRN pending cases for bill submission and reporting
• Preparation and follow-up of open CAPEX PO reports for closure
• Preparation of project vendor advance ageing reports for MIS
• Preparation and submission of project vendor payable ageing reports from SAP
• Scrutiny and detailed analysis of Repairs & Maintenance GLs
• Compliance with auditor requirements related to taxation

Required Criteria

• Candidate should preferably have a pharmaceutical background.
• Current or previous company turnover should be more than ₹1,000 Cr, preferably from the manufacturing industry.
• SAP knowledge is mandatory.
• Candidate should be stable in organizations (minimum 2–3 years per company; avoid frequent job changes).
• Shared-services or third-party payroll experiences not considered.
