The Assistant General Manager Pre-Sales will lead and manage the end-to-end pre-sales process including tender management, proposal creation, solution presentations, and documentation. The role requires Excellent Communication skills with strong expertise in handling Government/Corporate RFPs & RFQs, preparing winning bids, and creating impactful client-facing presentations. The AGM will work closely with Sales, Delivery, Product, and Leadership teams to ensure business growth through high-quality proposals and pre-sales support.
Lead the identification, evaluation, and response to government and corporate tenders, EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and empanelment's.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for technical, financial, and compliance inputs.
Ensure timely submission of bids with complete documentation and adherence to eligibility/compliance requirements.
Track tender portals and maintain pipeline of opportunities.
Create detailed technical & commercial proposals tailored to client requirements.
Develop business case documents, solution write-ups, and value propositions.
Support Sales teams with product demos, client interactions, and solutioning.
Maintain repository of pre-sales collaterals, templates, case studies, and success stories.
Prepare impactful client presentations, pitch decks, and RFP response documents.
Develop and standardize templates for proposals, contracts, MoUs, and presentations.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and branding compliance across all client-facing documents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Finance, Operations, Legal, etc.) for inputs and approvals.
Liaise with consultants, channel partners, and external stakeholders for joint bids/alliances.
Drive improvements in bid management process, documentation quality, and knowledge management.
Train and mentor junior team members on tender processes, documentation, and presentation skills.
Maintain a knowledge base of industry-specific trends, competition benchmarks, and regulatory changes.
Strong understanding of government procurement policies, e-tender portals, and bidding processes.
Excellent drafting, documentation, and business writing skills.
Strong presentation and communication abilities (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Ability to analyze tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and compliance needs.
Hands-on experience with pre-sales solutioning and proposal management.
Strong coordination, leadership, and project management skills.
Attention to detail with ability to work under tight deadlines.
MBA / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Proven track record of handling large, complex bids and winning tenders.
Familiarity with Government e-Marketplace (GeM), CPPP, and similar tendering platforms will be an added advantage.
