Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end export and import documentation in compliance with DGFT, Customs, and EXIM policies
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and shipping lines for timely dispatch and clearance of goods
Ensure proper filing and handling of shipping documents such as BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.
Handle pre- and post-shipment documentation for Letter of Credit (LC) and advance payment terms
Ensure timely application and closure of Advance Authorizations, EPCG, and other export incentives
Coordinate with internal departments (production, QA, finance, project) for shipment planning
Monitor and track international shipments; resolve any logistics delays or documentation discrepancies
Ensure compliance with solar-specific import/export regulations, e.g., MNRE guidelines, BIS certifications, etc.
Liaise with customs authorities for duty drawbacks, IGST refund claims, and bonded warehouse procedures
Maintain updated knowledge on EXIM policy changes, import duties, and trade regulations affecting solar equipment
Prepare MIS reports for shipments, duty savings, documentation status, etc.
Support audits and ensure proper recordkeeping of all export-import transactions

Key Skills & Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of EXIM policies, customs procedures, and international trade regulations
Familiarity with solar industry components (modules, inverters, structures, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and online portals (ICEGATE, DGFT, etc.)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple shipments and documentation under tight timelines
