Job Description

Position: Manager Export Logistics & Documentation

Preference:

Key Responsibilities:

International Shipments

Prepare pre-shipment and post-shipment export documentation.
Plan shipments according to the manufacturing/production schedule.
Provide B/L and AWB instructions and obtain approvals from liners/agents.
Coordinate and follow up on certificates from government bodies such as Capexil, Animal Quarantine, Plant Quarantine, and Spice Board.
Follow up with CHA for clearance documents, B/L, and AWB from liners/agents.
Coordinate with the Quality team for lab reports and conduct necessary scrutiny.
Follow up with the production team to ensure timely production for dispatch planning.
Handle post-shipment documentation, scrutiny, and customer pre-alerts.
Manage export documentation for both pet food and human food categories.
Coordinate for DBK and GST return processing with Customs.
Maintain the sales register for dispatches.
Send pre-alert shipment documents to customers before sailing/departure.
Follow up with forwarders for freight bills and approvals.
Coordinate with the Finance team for vendor/forwarder payment processing.
Prepare monthly MIS reports for all shipments.
Maintain shipment trackers and update key account managers with shipment status.

Domestic Shipments

Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely readiness of materials to meet shipment TAT.
Update domestic trackers (inventory & logistics).
Prepare monthly MIS reports for domestic shipments.
Work with production and quality teams on internal inventory transfers.
