Assistant Collection Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Assist in formulating and executing collection strategies to minimize overdue balances.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and collection efforts.
• Support in preparing daily/weekly/monthly collection reports for management review.
• Coordinate with sales, finance, and legal teams for dispute resolution and escalations.
• Train, guide, and supervise junior collection executives to improve team performance.
• Identify high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate action plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in collections, receivables management, or credit control
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and identify collection trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collection/ERP software.
• Knowledge of legal aspects related to collections will be an added advantage.
