Job Title: Area Sales Manager Location: Kolkata, WEST BENGAL Industry: Pest Control Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Director Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our growing team in the pest control industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in pest control or related fields, and possess a strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales dynamics. As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your designated territory, managing key accounts, and leading a team of sales representatives. Key Responsibilities: Sales Management: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by effectively managing the sales process from prospecting to closing deals. Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned area to expand the customer base and increase revenue. Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to improve the skills and efficiency of the sales team. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals with new and existing customers. Collaborate with the customer service and operations teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areas. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to help shape service offerings and promotional campaigns. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback using CRM systems. Submit regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the pest control industry or related sectors such as facilities management, sanitation, or environmental services is preferred. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to succeed. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
