Job Title: Product Analysis Field Application Engineer (FAE) / Process Engineer Department: Engineering / Technical Support Reports To: Engineering/Technical Manager Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Product Analysis Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support technical issue resolution, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration for our cable ties and related products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in plastic components, hands-on experience with failure analysis, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Understand product structure, materials , functions, and application scenarios in automotive, electrical, and industrial sectors. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Investigate customer complaints and product abnormalities using tools like 5Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D Reports. Prepare detailed issue reports and coordinate with internal teams (Mold, QA, Production) and suppliers to implement corrective actions. Support on-site customer activities including product testing, installation, debugging, and technical presentations. Communicate technical information clearly with both customers and internal teams. Collaborate with Mold Design, Product Management, QA, and Manufacturing teams to align customer requirements with internal solutions. Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, MSA, and GR&R during product evaluation and problem-solving. Understand and support environmental and mechanical testing as part of reliability verification. Preferred/Bonus Experience: Familiarity with international standards such as UL 62275, RoHS, and REACH . Experience with injection molding processes and plastic product analysis. Background in customer or supplier-facing technical roles. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in product analysis, failure investigation, or field application engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and reporting skills. Willingness to travel for customer support or technical meetings when required.
