Area Operations Manager

As an Area Manager - Operations for India's leading premium brand company in cakes, pastries, and other bakery products (QSR/Retail food), you will play a crucial role in driving the long-term growth and profitability of your designated area. Working closely with your team and various internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for strategizing, launching, and scaling up business operations in new markets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing a cross-functional approach to define the medium and long-term roadmap for achieving growth and profitability targets in your cluster - Owning the P&L in collaboration with the operations and marketing teams - Building the brand through the creation and execution of local marketing strategies - Evaluating and implementing new product features and innovative offerings - Identifying opportunities for profit maximization through effective cost and time management - Managing a team of dynamic individuals and fostering a collaborative work environment - Demonstrating strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and strong negotiation skills - Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders - Being commercially aware, street smart, and understanding the local market dynamics - Experience in opening new stores, particularly in the QSR segment across India - Ability to shift base to any region within the city as required Additionally, you should have a data-driven decision-making mentality, strong analytical thinking, and a creative solutions-driven mindset to drive business growth effectively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment and adept at project management and communication to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
