Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Work Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Equity Market.
  • At least 4 years in a leadership or managerial role handling sales & business development.

Team Management

  • Minimum 15 team members (Relationship Managers & Sales Executives).

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve equity sales and revenue targets in the assigned area.
  • Drive cross-selling of third-party products to both new and existing clients.
  • Identify, onboard, and nurture new business opportunities across institutional and retail investors.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to refine sales and growth strategies.

2. Team Leadership

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Relationship Managers & Sales Executives.
  • Set performance goals, track progress, and provide regular coaching & feedback.
  • Build a performance-driven culture through effective leadership and motivation.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Offer customized investment solutions aligned with client needs & risk appetite.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and long-term engagement.

4. Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with organizational policies, regulatory frameworks, and ethical standards.
  • Supervise equity trading, portfolio management, and reporting operations.
  • Mitigate risks by adhering to compliance and governance guidelines.

5. Market Insights & Strategy

  • Analyze market movements, economic developments, and investor sentiments for business insights.
  • Collaborate with research teams to deliver timely market updates & reports.
  • Partner with marketing teams to design and roll out effective equity product campaigns.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare & present performance dashboards, sales forecasts, and business strategies to management.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and improve revenue outcomes.
