Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team as an Area Credit Manager in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance and credit appraisal, with excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Roles and Responsibility

Support and collaborate with business teams to manage end-to-end credit approval for the designated region.

Underwrite cases and present them to senior level, authorizing deviations documented by underwriters in compliance with credit policy.

Finalize review of credit memos and sign-off on approvals or declines after checking documentation requests.

Approve disbursement requests based on achieved adherence to requirements on agreement value and full documentation attainment at the branch level.

Monitor and oversee PDD management, ensuring timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases.

Oversee and initiate follow-ups with external vendors (FI, Legal & Technical valuations) to ensure timely query resolution/report submission and eliminate undue delays.

Coordinate with the recoveries team and generate business insights.

Lead a team of credit approvers to ensure portfolio quality and delinquencies, engaging in development, implementation, review, and monitoring of various credit programs while providing training and coaching to continuously upgrade the competency of the team and improve processing efficiency of the HUB.

Ensure due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loans, evolving underwriting norms customized to local market needs and enhancing consumer credit risk strategy.

Manage a portfolio in assigned areas.

Job

MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or equivalent degree.

Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate finance and credit appraisal.

Possess strong knowledge of credit policy, underwriting, and risk management.

Demonstrate excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
