About The Opportunity

• Lead seasonal design development—create sketches, moodboards, color stories, and detailed line plans aligned with merchandising briefs.
• Produce production-ready tech packs, specifications, and costing inputs for each style and manage revisions through sampling stages.
• Work hands-on in the sample room: attend fit sessions, evaluate samples, recommend pattern or construction changes, and sign off fit approvals.
• Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to select fabrics, trims, and production methods that balance quality, cost, and lead-time.
• Ensure timely handover to production teams; resolve technical issues during pre-production and pilot runs to minimize rejects and rework.
• Maintain organized design files and version control (artwork, specs, BOMs) and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of hands-on apparel design experience for retail or branded collections (menswear/womenswear/kids as applicable).
• Expert-level Adobe Illustrator and strong Photoshop skills for flat drawings and presentations.
• Proven experience creating accurate tech packs, BOMs, and garment spec sheets.
• Solid knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, pattern-making basics, and fit evaluation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams.
  

Preferred

• Experience with PLM or CAD systems and familiarity with 3D design tools (CLO, Browzwear) is a plus.
• Exposure to costing, yield calculations, and vendor management for export or large-scale production.
• Understanding of sustainable materials and low-waste design practices.
