About the Role

Ampera is looking for a data-driven MIS Executive to own the renewal reporting stack for Motor/Auto insurance. You will build and automate dashboards, track renewal funnels and team productivity, ensure data accuracy across systems, and surface insights that improve renewal conversion, TAT, and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to auto insurance renewals
  • Track renewal status and coordinate follow-ups with customers, agents, and field staff
  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, and documentation of renewal pipeline and closure rates
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Sales, Ops, Support) for follow-up and escalations
  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and report automation using Excel, Power Query, or Power BI
  • Highlight pending renewals and policy lapses in advance to support proactive outreach
  • Generate audit logs, summaries, and compliance reports for insurer partnerships


Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in MIS reporting or insurance operations (auto insurance preferred)
  • Strong skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Charts)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and insurance renewal tools
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Organized, deadline-oriented, and detail-focused
  • Ability to work independently and escalate exceptions effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail, comfort with large datasets, and strong communication skills.
  • Education:

    Any Graduate; PG/MBA preferred but not mandatory.

Good-to-Have

  • Prior experience in general insurance or auto insurance industry
  • Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and renewal lifecycle
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., VBA or Python) for automation
