Job Description

Position Overview

Provide web analytics support to a large technology client.

Responsibilities

  • Use Adobe Analytics to analyze and report on user’s digital customer journey through client's site properties, which include, but not limited to, clicks, page views, time on site, bounce rates, attribution, campaign tracking etc.
  • Dive deep into web analytics to develop insights and recommendations that lead to improved website conversion rates, page speed, time on site, bounce rate, retention, campaing performance, and/or overall business performance
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external stakeholders to understand requirements, timelines and desired deliverables for all analytics requests that are assigned to you
  • Manage multiple data sources at the same time and have the ability to come up with a cohesive story with insights
  • Use the data sources available to you in order to answer business questions and to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions
  • Proactively update all relevant parties on status of analytics requests and deliverables
  • Track all work items via a ticketing system in order to accurately capture the time and effort involved in different types of analytics deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years working with digital/web analytics in one or more web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Experience with click stream and/or digital telemetry datasets
  • Competent in ad-hoc, in-depth analysis and development of clear recommendations
  • Capable of delivering contextual, thoughtfully presented, visual output
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft tools, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong understanding of website tagging methodology (i.e. how to find a web site’s base tag and see attributes of each event)
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, must be able to listen, understand questions and develop clear insights in order to communicate with various roles (e.g. developers to other analysts and executives)
  • BA/BS degree in mathematics, information systems, statistics, marketing, business or related disciplines or equivalent experience
  • Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload, but comfortable working collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with multiple analytics platforms
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to take direction from mutiple people, and accept all feedback constructively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate/advanced experience with Adobe Analytics
  • Advanced Excel
  • Basic Power BI and SQL
  • Prior experience with data collection tools (i.e. JSLL)
