Ad Sales Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, pitch, and close advertising deals with clients in
consumer durable, jewellery, retail, personal care, and local business categories
.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies and direct clients.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets by selling advertising space in our newspaper publications.
Understand client needs and recommend effective advertising solutions using our media products.
Prepare and present customized media proposals and pricing.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the
local category segments
.
Ensure timely execution of ad bookings, creatives, and follow-ups with internal teams.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in
advertisement sales or space selling
for a newspaper or print media.
Proven track record of handling clients from
consumer durables, jewellery, retail, personal care
, and other
local business categories
.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of the
local market
and media buying behavior.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
