Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to management for decision-making.
• Assist with the monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and accurate.
• Prepare variance analysis reports and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Tax Compliance & Reporting:
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Assist with tax planning, forecasting, and strategy to minimize tax liabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations and advise the team on changes that may affect the company.
• General Ledger Maintenance:
• Oversee the accuracy of all general ledger entries, ensuring they are in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
• Review accounting journal entries and ensure they are in compliance with internal control procedures.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis.
• Work closely with department heads to ensure that budgetary goals are met.
• Internal Controls & Audit Support:
• Ensure adherence to internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Support both internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce the risk of errors.
• Financial Systems & Software:
• Maintain and optimize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Assist with system upgrades, troubleshooting, and the implementation of new tools that improve accounting workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and tax preparation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
