Accounts Executive

Job Description: Accounts Executive Location: Goregaon, Mumbai Industry: Engineering Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years Qualification: Graduate in Commerce Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are hiring an experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure financial accuracy. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally and Microsoft Excel, with a sound understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance. This role is essential in supporting the finance team and maintaining accurate financial records for our engineering operations. Key Responsibilities: • Handle day-to-day accounting entries and ensure proper documentation. • Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP with accuracy and compliance. • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, and petty cash. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and follow up for outstanding payments. • Generate and maintain invoices, debit/credit notes, and supporting records. • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. • Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations, and assist in tax filings. • Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation. • Support budgeting and expense tracking as per company guidelines. • Work closely with the purchase and sales teams for data accuracy and reconciliation. Key Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role. • Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent). • Proficient in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.). • Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and compliance. • Good analytical and reconciliation skills. • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational ability. • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple accounting tasks. • Familiarity with internal audits and financial reporting. • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
