As one of the largest global pharma intelligence solution providers, Norstella has a footprint across the globe with teams of experts delivering world class solutions in the USA, UK, The Netherlands, Japan, China and India.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Technology Lead to drive the optimization and integration of financial systems across Norstella’s global operations. The Accounting Technology Lead will spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of accounting systems and automation workflows. You’ll bridge Finance and IT, ensuring our ERP and related platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This hands-on role demands both technical acumen and strong stakeholder management. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify process enhancements that elevate our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, upgrades, and maintenance of accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial systems with operational platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
- Design and execute automation strategies and solutions for AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting
- Integrate accounting platforms with operational tools
- Manage vendor relationships, oversee system support, and negotiate service agreements
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and user training
- Define and enforce data governance, internal controls, and compliance standards
- Develop comprehensive documentation, train end users, and drive adoption
- Monitor system performance; identify and implement continuous improvements
- Support month-end and year-end close cycles with technology-driven process enhancements
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- CA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification
Experience
- 8+ years of experience implementing and maintaining accounting technologies in a global environment
- Deep expertise in ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle Cloud) and financial automation tools (e.g., BlackLine, FloQast, Alteryx)
- Proven track record managing cross-functional projects and remote teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
