Description

Job Summary:The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy of financial records, and support compliance with statutory and internal financial controls. The role requires hands-on involvement in financial reporting, audits, taxation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in an automotive manufacturing or allied environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, income tax, and company law requirements.
Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
Monitor and control costing, budgeting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and accounting policies.
Support management with financial MIS, reports, and analysis for decision-making.
Coordinate with banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance
Experience in manufacturing/automotive accounting preferred
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Educational Qualifications

CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
Relevant accounting experience in automotive or manufacturing sector preferred
