• Good Knowledge of ERP Tally,
• Day to Day Accounting in Tally,
• Reconciliation – Revenue, bank, cash, and vendor
• Good Communication skill.

Preferably a Semi Qualified CA

Job Summary:

The Accountant will manage the school's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, budgeting, payroll, and supporting financial audits to maintain the school’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update all financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and process payroll for school staff, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and petty cash transactions regularly.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with school management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collection of fees and payment of bills.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and school policies.
• Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and provide required documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing system for all financial records.
• Support procurement processes by reviewing vendor invoices and purchase orders.
• Assist in grant management and reporting if applicable.
• Provide financial advice to school management when required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and integrity in financial management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment within the school premises.
• Standard working hours with occasional need for extra hours during audit or financial closing periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
