Job Title: Accountant
Location: Head Office (Park Street) & Site Office (Ghatakpukur, Erenda)
Shift Hours: Full-Time

About Us:
We are a growing healthcare organization managing Jiban Suraksha Nursing Home, with an expanding network of healthcare facilities. As we move forward with our mission to provide exceptional medical services, we are looking to hire an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations at both our Head Office located at Park Street and the Site Office at Ghatakpukur, Erenda.

Key Responsibilities:

• GST Filing & Compliance:
• Ensure accurate filing and timely submission of GST returns (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Maintain records of GST inputs and outputs, ensuring correct calculation and reporting of GST liabilities.
• Liaise with tax authorities for audits and other inquiries.
• TDS Management:
• Deduct TDS as per applicable rates and ensure timely payment to the government.
• Prepare and file TDS returns accurately and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Prepare and issue TDS certificates to vendors and contractors.
• Cash and Accounts Handling:
• Handle daily cash transactions and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices, vendor bills, and employee reimbursements.
• Ensure that all financial records are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies.
• General Accounting:
• Maintain day-to-day financial records, including receipts, payments, ledgers, and journals.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Coordination Between Offices:
• Ensure smooth financial operations between the Head Office (Park Street) and Site Office (Ghatakpukur, Erenda).
• Coordinate with the management team and other departments regarding financial reporting and planning.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or similar) are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare sector or similar industries.
• Hands-on experience in GST and TDS filing, cash management, and general accounting.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of GST and TDS laws and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position (Head Office at Park Street, Site Office at Ghatakpukur, Erenda).
• Must be flexible to handle tasks at both locations as needed.
