We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in trading or manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial documentation, including GST, TDS, e-Invoicing, and E-Way Bills. The role requires strong knowledge of purchase & sales accounting, vendor management, and product sales reconciliation. Role & responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Operations Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including purchase, sales, debit/credit notes, and journal entries . Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards. Reconcile bank accounts, vendor ledgers, customer ledgers , and inventory statements. Monitor accounts receivable and payable and ensure timely follow-ups. 2. GST & TDS Compliance Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) . Manage input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and vendor GST compliance checks. Generate and manage e-Invoices and E-Way Bills as per GST rules. Handle TDS calculations, deductions, challans, and quarterly returns . 3. Sales & Purchase Management Post and verify purchase and sales invoices and ensure proper tax treatment. Coordinate with vendors and customers for billing issues, discrepancies, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate records of product sales , pricing, and stock movement. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, E-Invoice, E-Way Bill, and general accounting principles . Hands-on experience with Tally ERP any major accounting software. Proficiency in MS Excel, invoice management, and reconciliation.
