Job Description

1. Financial Record Keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Record all transactions in ledgers or accounting software. 2. Preparing Financial Statements Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and trends for management decision-making. 3. Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in preparing budgets. Monitor expenses and suggest cost-control measures. Forecast financial trends and requirements. 4. Taxation and Compliance Ensure timely filing of taxes (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements. Liaise with auditors and tax consultants. 5. Payroll Processing Calculate and process employee salaries, deductions, and benefits. Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations. 6. Audit Support Prepare audit schedules and documentation. Assist internal and external auditors during audits. 7. Accounts Payable and Receivable Manage vendor payments and customer collections. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. 8. Financial Reporting and Analysis Provide reports to management regarding financial performance. Suggest improvements in financial processes and policies. 9. Inventory and Asset Management Track inventory levels and fixed assets. Ensure accurate valuation and depreciation. 10. Internal Controls Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
