Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting operations, including

  bookkeeping

  , journal entries, and ledger management.
• Prepare and file

  monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns

  and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Manage

  TDS deductions, filing, and reconciliation

  as per government deadlines.
• Prepare and file

  income tax returns

  , advance tax computations, and related documentation.
• Perform

  bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations

  on a regular basis.
• Create and maintain

  MIS reports

  , balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow summaries.
• Handle

  data entry, financial data validation, and variance analysis

  .
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Support the finance team with

  budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

• Timely Filing:

  100% on-time filing of GST, TDS, and Tax Returns.

• Accuracy Rate:

  <1% error margin in accounting entries and reconciliations.

• Reconciliation Turnaround:

  All bank/vendor reconciliations completed within 5 working days of month-end.

• Reporting Quality:

  Monthly MIS and financial reports submitted by the 5th of every month.

• Compliance:

  Zero penalties or notices due to late filings or errors.

• Audit Support:

  Completion of audit requirements within timelines and without major queries.

• Data Management:

  Up-to-date and accurate maintenance of ledgers and supporting documents.

• Process Improvement:

  Identification and implementation of at least 2 efficiency improvements per quarter.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 2–5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of

  TDS, GST, Bookkeeping, and Tax Filing processes.

• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel

  and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
