Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a data-driven Accountant who can manage the full spectrum of accounting, compliance, and financial analysis for our factory operations. The ideal candidate is strong in Excel and data management, ensures 100% statutory compliance, and provides sharp insights on costs, production efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate day-to-day books of accounts (ledgers, reconciliations, vouchers).

Manage vendor payments, purchase entries, and customer billing.

Track raw material costs, inventory valuation, and production expenses.

Ensure smooth flow between factory accounts and sales accounts.

2. Compliance & Taxation

Timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and all factory-related statutory compliances.

Coordinate with auditors and ensure audit-readiness for both factory and café operations.

Stay updated on labor law and factory compliance requirements.

3. Factory Finance & Costing

Monitor raw material consumption vs. production output.

Prepare cost sheets, yield analysis, and wastage reports.

Support production team with cost optimization insights.

Track factory overheads, utility expenses, and machine maintenance costs.

4. Financial Planning & Analysis

Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

Conduct variance analysis against budgets and highlight key financial insights.

Provide unit economics breakdown (cost per product, margin tracking, efficiency KPIs).

5. Excel & Data Specialization

Build and manage advanced Excel dashboards (pivots, macros, power queries).

Automate regular reporting formats for factory production + café sales + operations.

Integrate multi-departmental data for management reviews.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

• CA Inter / MBA Finance / B.Com / M.Com with 3–7 years of experience in accounting & finance.

• Strong command of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, Power Query, Macros preferred).

• Sound knowledge of factory costing, inventory accounting, and taxation.

• Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / ERP systems.

• Ability to work with production, supply chain, and operations teams.
