Account Executive

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company's financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• General Ledger Management:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze general ledger transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Address audit findings and implement recommendations for process improvements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
• Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis to support business operations and identify areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
• Provide insightful recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Tax Compliance:
• Work closely with the tax department to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial procedures and systems.
• Implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and resolve accounting-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting, and reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
