Role OverviewThe Accounts & Inventory Executive will manage accounting entries, stock records, and inventory controls related to rugs, carpets, and textile products. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, smooth warehouse operations, and proper tracking of inventory from procurement to sales. Key Responsibilities1. Accounting ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions (purchase, sales, expenses, payments, receipts). Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor/customer reconciliation. Prepare and maintain ledgers, balance sheets, and financial statements. Assist in monthly/quarterly closing and reporting. Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and GST/VAT compliance (as applicable). Support external and internal audits by preparing required documents. Process bank reconciliation and petty cash management. Ensure accurate costing of rugs, raw materials, and finished goods. 2. Inventory Management ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate stock records for rugs, carpets, yarn, raw materials, and finished goods. Perform daily stock updates in ERP/Inventory software. Coordinate with the warehouse team for inward/outward stock movements. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile differences. Track stock aging, slow-moving items, and damaged goods. Verify GRN (Goods Receipt Note), delivery challans, and dispatch documents. Implement inventory control processes to minimize losses, errors, and wastage. Assist in demand forecasting and purchase planning. 3. Coordination & DocumentationWork closely with procurement, production, finance, and sales departments. Maintain all inventory and financial documentation in an organized manner. Prepare inventory, stock turnover, and valuation reports. Support management in budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiency.
