Job Description

Role: Management Trainee – Sales – GMF Job Location: Gujarat/Pune A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a As a Management Trainee , you will be involved in various aspects of our business operations, from strategic planning, sales management, market analysis. You will work closely with the Sales team to drive growth and market penetration for GMF products, with a focus on the Automobile OEM’s and Tier 1/Tier 2 Vendors. Key Responsibilities: Business Development and Sales Strategy Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities. Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Join the sales team in customer relationship management and lead generation. Market Research and Analysis Conduct comprehensive market assessments for GMF products. Identify and analyze market requirements, technology trends, and emerging applications. Prepare detailed reports on market dynamics, competitive benchmarking, and growth opportunities. Product Knowledge and Customer Engagement Gain in-depth understanding of GMF's product portfolio. Assist in customer meetings and presentations to understand client needs and communicate product value. Collaborate with technical teams to align product offerings with market demands. Sales Operations and Reporting Support the development of sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and performance metrics. Analyze sales data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making. Prepare and present periodic reports on sales performance and market insights to the NSH. Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic business environment Willingness to travel across the country/Region for customer meetings and market research. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Chemical Engineering is preferred) Prior internship or project experience in B2B sales or technology marketing Basic understanding of chemical processes or electroplating/Coating Technologies Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools This role offers an excellent opportunity for a fresher to gain hands-on experience in technical sales, market analysis, and strategic business development in the specialty chemicals industry.
