Role & Responsibilities

• Own and drive overall sales, distribution, and revenue growth for the assigned zone.
• Develop zonal sales strategies and annual operating plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and manage Area Sales Managers to ensure target achievement across territories.
• Strengthen and expand distributor and channel partner network to improve market penetration.
• Review primary and secondary sales, inventory levels, credit control, and distributor profitability.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and promotions; recommend strategic actions.
• Ensure effective execution of trade marketing initiatives, visibility programs, and brand activations.
• Drive sales capability building through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Monitor and control zonal budgets, schemes, and promotional spends.
• Conduct regular business reviews and market visits to track execution and resolve issues.
• Prepare and present MIS, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and governance standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Strong experience in FMCG sales, channel management, and multi-state operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large, geographically spread teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• High ownership mindset and result-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the zone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Experience:

• FMCG industry, management and retail operations: 7 years (Required)
