Job Description

Role Summary-

The Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing and developing the regional sales team, team of sales executives, driving market penetration, and building strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and opinion leaders in the assigned zone. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and hands-on field involvement to ensure sustainable growth.

Division: Dental Implants/Medical Devices

Key Responsibilities-

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned zone.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand customer base, and improve revenue per account.
  • Drive product penetration in clinics, hospitals, and key institutions and increasing geographic coverage.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate Regional sales team/Executives.
  • Monitor team performance through regular reviews, joint fieldwork, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to company sales processes, reporting systems, and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key customers (Doctors, Hospitals, and Distributors).
  • Initiate and support scientific/educational activities, workshops, and product demonstrations.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, maintain inventories at distributors and ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, and performance analysis. Provide insights and recommendations based on market feedback and data analysis.
