Job Description

Zoho Project Manager / Operations Head

delivering excellence, operational efficiency, and scalability

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of multiple Zoho implementation projects
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and change requests
  • Ensure projects are delivered 

    on time, within scope, and within budget

Operations & Team Management

  • Manage day-to-day project operations across multiple teams
  • Allocate resources (consultants, developers, support) efficiently
  • Track utilisation, productivity, and delivery KPIs
  • Establish SOPs, best practices, and delivery frameworks

Zoho Solution Oversight

  • Oversee implementations across Zoho or any ERP applications, including:
  • CRM, Creator, Books, Inventory
  • HRMS Apps - People, Payroll, and Recruit
  • PMS and Supporting Application
  • Campaigns, Marketing Automation
  • Ensure solution design aligns with the approved BRD/FRD
  • Guide teams on best practices and scalable Zoho architecture

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the 

    primary escalation point

     for clients
  • Conduct governance calls, steering committee meetings, and reviews
  • Manage expectations, timelines, and delivery commitments
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term relationships

Documentation & Governance

  • Ensure preparation and sign-off of:
  • BRD, FRD, Scope of Work
  • Project plans, status reports, and risk registers
  • Maintain strong project governance and reporting discipline

Financial & Commercial Control

  • Track project budgets, billing milestones, and revenue realization
  • Monitor scope creep and manage change requests commercially
  • Support AMC, hyper-care, and support contract structuring

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify delivery gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Improve delivery efficiency, quality, and predictability
  • Support internal training, mentoring, and capability building

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience in 

    Zoho project delivery and operations

  • Hands-on understanding of Zoho applications and integrations
  • Proven experience managing 

    multiple concurrent projects

  • Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, SOW, project plans)
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and people management capability

Good to Have

  • Zoho Partner / Consulting background
  • Exposure to API-based integrations and custom development
  • Experience in scaling delivery teams
  • Knowledge of Agile / Hybrid project methodologies
