Workday
HCM Integration Specialist
. This position can be located at in our Pune, India Office.
In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office may be required to engage in face-to-face collaboration among teammates.
What You’ll Do
- Manage technical integrations that span across a variety of solutions/approaches (including but not limited to Workday Studio, RaaS, EIBs, Workday Web Services, custom reports, Workday &/or partner-delivered solutions, XSLT, & XpathCollaborate with Team Lead, business stakeholder, and 3rd parties to develop technical solutions that support business processes.
- Engages with 3rd party vendors to Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration as well as trouble shoot & resolve current integrations issues.
- Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of issues and manage day-to-day support activities.
- Writes technical specifications, test scripts and mapping / process documents as it relates to integrations.
- Recommend Standard / Agile methodologies to ensure optimal uses of Workday based on knowledge of Air Products processes and technology.
- Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary and discussing with respective Team Lead.
- Develops complex reporting and dashboards to support business needs.
- Support on Upgrades, Change Requests, Release Management, Project related activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or Business-related field
- 1-3 years’ experience integrating Workday. Participated in an implementation leading and/or heavily supporting the integrations workstream
- Exceptional analytic skills / capabilities and with mindset of continuous improvement who is looking to optimize the HR platform.
- 2-3+ Year of Workday integrations experience specifically around core Connectors, WECI, PECI, PICOF, Workday Studio, XML, Enterprise Builder EIB
- Experience integrating with SAP system and or / experience with SAP / ABAP development language a plus
- Proficiency in SOAP-based web services, REST, XML/XSLT, BIRT, Middleware
- Understanding of integration design, testing concepts and frameworks (e.g., middleware, transformation logic)
- Experience working with Orchestrate &/or Extend is a plus.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with internal team members, vendors, at various levels of the organization
