Job Description:
End to end ownership of Finance modules – configure, test, and support Workday Financials (GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Procurement, Projects/Grants, Assets) and keep them aligned with evolving business requirements.
• Release & optimization management – analyze Workday twice yearly releases, assess impact, pilot new features, and drive adoption of value adding functionality.
• Data stewardship & reporting – build/maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields; ensure data integrity through audits, reconciliations, and mass update tools (EIB, Workday Spreadsheet Template).
• Integration oversight – design or troubleshoot inbound/outbound integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Web Services) connecting ERP, treasury, payroll, and banking platforms.
• Security & SOX compliance – manage role based security, segregation of duties reviews, and documentation that satisfies audit and internal control frameworks.
• Stakeholder enablement – translate finance/accounting needs into Workday solutions, run UAT sessions, develop job aids, and train Controllers, FP&A, and AP/AR teams.
• Issue triage & continuous improvement – own ticket queues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes or enhancements with clear SLAs.
