Avantor is seeking a Workday Analyst with expertise in Workday Benefits configuration to join our HR Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Workday Benefits functionality that supports Avantor’s global workforce. The analyst will collaborate with HR, Total Rewards, and external vendors to ensure benefits programs are accurately reflected, seamlessly administered, and compliant with regulatory requirements.This is a full-time position. The Team
The HR Technology team partners with HR and business leaders across the globe to deliver scalable and innovative solutions and advance the business. As part of this dynamic group, you will focus on Benefits configuration while also gaining exposure to modules such as Absence, Advanced Compensation, Expense, Time Tracking and more, creating a clear path for your professional growth.
What We’re Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 3+ years of Workday configuration experience, with a focus on Workday Benefits.
- Hands-on experience with benefits programs (health, welfare, retirement), including plan design, eligibility rules, rates, and event processing.
- Strong knowledge of Workday business process configuration, condition rules, and calculated fields.
- Familiarity with vendor file integrations, including troubleshooting data transmission errors.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly.
Preferred
- Workday Pro certification in Benefits.
- Experience configuring other Workday modules (Absence, Advanced Compensation, or Expense).
- Exposure to multi-country benefit plan setup.
- Experience with the Workday integration framework.
How You Will Create An Impact
- Configure, test, and maintain Workday Benefits setup to support Avantor’s global benefits programs.
- Collaborate with HR Total Rewards, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure seamless administration of benefits.
- Lead or support annual Open Enrollment configuration and testing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex benefits-related issues, including eligibility, enrollment, and payroll deductions.
- Create and maintain benefits-related reports, dashboards, and audits to support compliance and decision-making.
- Ensure system compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, supporting internal and external audit needs.
- Partner with IT and vendor teams to monitor and improve benefit file integrations.
