We are seeking an experienced and versatile WordPress Developer to design, develop, and manage responsive websites across multiple brands and business verticals. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, creative vision, and marketing understanding.

The ideal candidate will not only possess a strong command of WordPress development but also demonstrate a working knowledge of social media management, content writing, and digital marketing. You will collaborate with creative, marketing, and operations teams to build high-performing digital experiences that enhance visibility, engagement, and conversions.

This position is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and strategy—someone who can code efficiently while understanding how every website, post, and campaign contributes to overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Design, Development & Customization

  • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for multiple brands and projects.
  • Design visually appealing, mobile-responsive, and SEO-friendly websites using Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery.
  • Customize or develop new WordPress themes and plugins to support functional and brand-specific needs.
  • Translate design files (Figma, Adobe XD, or Canva) into functional web pages with precise attention to UI/UX details.
  • Implement advanced website features including sliders, forms, integrations, and dynamic content elements.
  • Ensure websites adhere to modern web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility guidelines.

2. Technical Optimization & Performance Management

  • Optimize website performance by managing caching, minification, image compression, and lazy loading.
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals to maintain optimal site speed and usability.
  • Set up and manage hosting environments, including domains, SSL certificates, and email configurations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure stability and security.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to themes, plugins, and databases with minimal downtime.

3. SEO, Analytics & Conversion Integration

  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headings, internal links, and schema markup.
  • Integrate tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console for performance tracking.
  • Support marketing teams in setting up UTM tracking, event triggers, and conversion pixels.
  • Collaborate with SEO and content teams to improve organic visibility and keyword performance.
  • Generate website performance reports and provide actionable insights for improvement.

4. Digital Marketing & Social Media Support

  • Coordinate with digital marketing teams to ensure all websites align with campaign goals and brand identity.
  • Support social media management by creating landing pages, blog sections, or microsites to promote campaigns.
  • Contribute to content writing and editing for blogs, web pages, and marketing copy aligned with SEO and brand tone.
  • Collaborate in planning and executing digital marketing initiatives, including newsletters, lead funnels, and paid campaigns.
  • Monitor website and social media analytics to assess engagement, traffic sources, and conversions.

5. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with the design, content, marketing, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution across platforms.
  • Support brand teams in launching new products, campaigns, or initiatives with timely website updates.
  • Provide technical guidance and suggestions during brainstorming sessions for marketing and communication strategies.
  • Maintain clear documentation of website changes, integrations, and custom code for future reference.

6. Maintenance, Security & Quality Control

  • Perform regular updates of WordPress core, plugins, and themes to ensure smooth functionality.
  • Conduct periodic security checks to identify vulnerabilities and apply protection measures.
  • Ensure proper version control, backup routines, and recovery mechanisms are in place.
  • Continuously test for UI/UX improvements, responsiveness, and bug resolution.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Proven experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, and custom theme/plugin development.
  • Understanding of WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and Mailchimp or similar integration tools.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, hosting management (cPanel, FTP), and version control (Git).
  • Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, SEO optimization, and Google indexing standards.
  • Experience integrating CRM systems, lead capture tools, and API-based solutions.

Digital Marketing & Creative Skills

  • Hands-on understanding of social media platforms, content calendars, and post scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Hootsuite).
  • Ability to write and edit web content, ensuring clarity, SEO compatibility, and alignment with brand tone.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and analytics dashboards.
  • Understanding of conversion funnels, landing page optimization, and email marketing workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with content creators, designers, and social media teams for unified campaigns.

Preferred Tools & Platforms

  • Exposure to Figma / Adobe XD / Canva for interpreting design assets.
  • Experience with hosting platforms like GoDaddy, Hostinger, Bluehost, or AWS.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, Notion, or Trello for project coordination.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in WordPress development with exposure to marketing or content-driven projects.
  • A portfolio of live websites showcasing both technical and creative proficiency is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
