Job Description: Shopify DeveloperCore Shopify Development Skills- Strong knowledge of Shopify platform (store setup, configuration, and customization). - Proficiency in Liquid templating language (themes, sections, snippets). - Hands-on experience with Shopify CLI & Theme Kit for development/deployment. - Expertise in customizing themes (Dawn, Prestige, Booster, and other premium themes). - Storefront development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6). App & API Knowledge- Installing, configuring, and optimizing Shopify Apps (reviews, upsells, subscriptions, chat, shipping). - Familiarity with Shopify API (REST & GraphQL) for third-party integrations. - Basic custom app development using Node.js, React, PHP, or Ruby. - Experience working with Shopify Webhooks. E-Commerce Functional Skills- Product management: variants, metafields, collections, pricing rules. - Checkout & payment gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, UPI). - Exposure to Shopify Plus features (if applicable). - Handling discount codes, gift cards, loyalty & referral programs. - Understanding of dropshipping workflows (Oberlo, DSers, Printful). Frontend Development- Responsive design implementation (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS). - DOM manipulation with jQuery & Vanilla JS. - Page speed optimization & lazy loading techniques. - Experience with AJAX API in Shopify (cart updates, filtering, etc.). SEO & Performance Optimization- On-page SEO setup (meta tags, structured data, alt attributes). - Image & code optimization for faster load times. - Shopify blog customization for content marketing. - Knowledge of Schema Markup basics. Tools & Workflow- Version control using Git/GitHub. - Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana). - Debugging & testing with Chrome DevTools. - Basic knowledge of GA4, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar integrations. Soft Skills- Strong client communication & requirement gathering abilities. - Task estimation & meeting deadlines effectively. - Analytical mindset with problem-solving & debugging skills. - Collaborative approach with designers, marketers, and backend teams.
