About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining our online storefronts to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate should possess strong coding skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for building high-performance e-commerce websites. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketing teams, and backend developers to implement innovative features, improve site functionality, and enhance overall user experience. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Web Developer, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus.
- Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, PHP, Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience working with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built systems.
- Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and data formats such as JSON.
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization techniques.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy new features and functionalities for the e-commerce website, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Maintain and enhance existing web pages, landing pages, and product detail pages to improve usability and aesthetic appeal.
- Optimize website performance, loading speed, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
- Manage integration of third-party tools such as payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM, ERP, and marketing automation tools.
- Work with platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom solutions to manage product catalog functionalities, filters, search, and navigation improvements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional web pages and interfaces.
- Implement A/B testing strategies to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
- Ensure website security, data protection, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor website health, uptime, and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Implement SEO strategies, including structured data, meta tags, and site architecture optimization.
- Configure analytics tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel to monitor performance and user behavior.
- Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and feature rollouts through technical expertise and timely updates.
