Warehouse Manager (FMCG)
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory, storage, and dispatch of products. This role involves coordinating warehouse activities, leading a team, maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring the safety of goods, and implementing procedures to enhance warehouse performance.
· Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring they understand and meet their responsibilities.
· Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse employees, ensuring productivity and performance standards are met.
· Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale among the team.
· Maintain accurate records and reports of warehouse activities, including stock levels, dispatches, and inventory audits.
· Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management regarding warehouse operations, inventory status, and any issues requiring attention.
· Generate daily MIS reports on stock movement, wastage, and operational performance
· At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
· Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP or inventory control software.
· A mindset of accountability.
· Passion to learn and grow.
· Proven track record in managing end-to-end supply chain operations.
· Strong business acumen, strong negotiation and closing skills, focusing on building mutually beneficial partnerships.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience in managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
