Location: Mundra, Gujarat The Opportunity Flow Supply Chain is looking for a Warehouse Manager with strong operational leadership and a deep understanding of food storage and distribution. Operations Management Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including inward, storage, and dispatch of goods. Maintain daily inward/outward plans for perishable and non-perishable materials. Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) practices. Ensure smooth coordination between receiving, storage, and order fulfillment teams. 2. Inventory Management Conduct daily cycle counts and verify expiry dates . Ensure real-time tracking using SAP WMS or digital inventory systems. Optimize space utilization through efficient racking, bin merging, and category-based storage . Validate stock levels against customer forecasts to prevent shortages or overstocking. 3. Workforce Planning & Team Management Ensure adequate manpower availability as per daily operational plans. Maintain close coordination with manpower contractors and develop backup workforce plans for peak seasons. Drive team training and upskilling in food safety and warehouse operations. 4. Warehouse Hygiene & Food Safety Enforce compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and FDA standards. Conduct daily sanitation checks and maintain temperature-controlled storage zones . Prepare for internal and third-party audits with complete documentation and readiness. 5. Reporting & MIS Generate daily MIS reports on stock movement, wastage, and operational performance. Maintain audit-compliant records for inward/outward transactions and temperature logs. Escalate deviations or exceptions in temperature, quality, or hygiene immediately. 6. Client Communication & Service Excellence Maintain strong, proactive communication with customers on stock levels, order status, and issue resolutions. Present periodic performance reports to clients and ensure alignment on SLAs. Build long-term client relationships through transparency and reliability. 7. Productivity & Continuous Improvement Analyze daily productivity and optimize manpower deployment . Implement KPIs and track staff performance to enhance throughput. Drive continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 8. Training & People Development Conduct ongoing training in food handling, safety, HACCP , and emergency response. Promote a learning culture that encourages accountability and professional growth. 9. Compliance & Safety Ensure the warehouse complies with all statutory, safety, and food-handling regulations . Promote a culture of discipline, integrity, and accountability . Guarantee product integrity from receipt to dispatch with full traceability. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of warehouse or supply chain experience , with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Prior experience in food or FMCG warehousing is preferred. Hands-on experience with SAP / WMS systems and Excel-based MIS reporting . Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSSAI, and food storage compliance standards . Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage client expectations and cross-functional teams effectively.
