Warehouse Executive

Job Summary:The Warehouse Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse space utilization, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:1. Warehouse OperationsOversee loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the warehouse. Ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. Monitor the handling of materials to minimize damages and losses. Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities to meet operational targets. 2. Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate stock levels through regular stock verification and cycle counting. Update inventory management systems (ERP/Tally/SAP) on material receipts and issues. Reconcile physical stock with system records periodically. Identify slow-moving and obsolete stock and report to management. 3. Documentation & ReportingPrepare GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), Issue Slips, and Dispatch Notes. Maintain inward and outward registers, gate passes, and stock ledgers. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance and inventory reports. Ensure all records are updated and stored for audit and compliance purposes. 4. CoordinationCoordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Logistics teams for smooth operations. Liaise with transporters, suppliers, and internal departments for dispatch and delivery schedules. Communicate discrepancies, delays, or issues promptly to the Warehouse Manager. 5. Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards. Conduct periodic checks on fire safety equipment and material handling tools. Ensure staff follows proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety guidelines. Support implementation of ISO/5S or other operational excellence initiatives. 6. Team SupportSupervise warehouse staff and material handlers in daily operations. Assist in manpower planning and shift scheduling. Train team members on warehouse procedures and system usage.
