Job Description

Job Summary

The Master Warehouse role manages daily warehouse activities, ensuring correct stock control, safe storage, and on-time dispatch of medical equipment and devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of medical equipment and consumables.
  • Ensure proper segregation of products (consumables, spares, demo units, and returned goods).
  • Maintain warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and material flow.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits.
  • Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, expiry dates and slow-moving items.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance as applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to medical device regulations, quality standards and internal SOPs.
  • Maintain batch/serial number traceability for medical devices.
  • Ensure proper documentation for inward, outward and returns (GRN, DC, invoices, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners for timely and safe dispatch of equipment.
  • Ensure proper packing, labeling and handling of sensitive and high-value medical equipment.
  • Monitor transit damages, shortages and delivery discrepancies.
  • Supervise warehouse staff.
  • Assign duties, monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety practices.
  • Train team members on SOPs, safety and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure calibration and upkeep of warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, service, and finance teams.
  • Prepare and submit MIS reports on inventory, dispatch, aging and discrepancies.
  • Escalate operational issues and suggest process improvements.

Skills

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
  • Experience in handling medical equipment and consumables
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Awareness of medical device regulations and quality standards
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and manage warehouse staff
  • Basic MIS reporting and data analysis skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or a related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in warehouse operations (medical devices / healthcare preferred)
  • Basic computer skill

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
