Qualifications

• Expertise in

  Stock Control, Stock Management, and Inventory Control

• Strong Supervisory Skills to manage and lead warehouse staff effectively

• Excellent Communication

  skills for coordinating with team members and other departments

• 5–8 years of experience

  in warehouse or stock control, preferably in

  leather goods, footwear, or fashion manufacturing.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and issue of materials and finished goods.
• Maintain

  accurate stock records

  and reconcile physical versus system inventories through periodic audits.
• Implement systems -

  FIFO/LIFO systems

  , tagging, and barcode-based traceability for leather and accessory inventory.
• Oversee packing and dispatch processes for local and export consignments, ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate with

  production, quality, and procurement

  teams to forecast and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure proper handling and preservation of sensitive materials such as woven leather, hardware, and lining.
• Monitor and enforce

  HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)

  and

  compliance standards

  within warehouse operations.
• Lead a small team of warehouse assistants and loaders; ensure timely training, discipline, and task allocation.
• Track and report key metrics such as

  stock variance, lead times, wastage, and order fulfillment accuracy

  .
• Support

  ERP / digital inventory systems

  implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation for

  internal audits, ISO inspections

  , and external compliance reviews.
