Chartered Accountant – Fresher

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business profitability through business partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Own and deliver month-end closing, monthly performance reporting, latest views, forecasts, and annual operating plan in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Provide meaningful, accurate, and timely in-depth business insights through forward-looking analysis.
  • Evaluate new projects and investment opportunities.
  • Manage internal controls, internal & external audits (preferably FMCG).
  • Drive automation and standardization through systems and tools to maximize efficiency and actionable insights.
  • Partner proactively with finance & business teams for transformation & value creation.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Exposure to financial control, management reporting, and business analysis (preferably FMCG/manufacturing).
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, ERP (SAP preferred) and reporting/analytics tools (Power BI, SAP Analytics, SQL).
  • Strong numerical skills and sound understanding of accounting fundamentals.
  • Effective communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
  • Ability to work according to Nigeria time zone (12 PM – 9 PM) and willingness to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and South Africa.

Assistant Manager – FP&A (3+ Years)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver monthly performance reporting, latest views, forecasts, and annual operating plan with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deliver meaningful and timely in-depth business insights focusing on forward-looking analysis, emerging trends, and financial risks to aid senior leadership decision-making.
  • Lead annual budgets and periodic forecasts ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse costs, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
  • Evaluate new projects/investments; develop financial models to support long-term strategic planning and scenario analysis.
  • Manage internal controls, internal & external audits.
  • Drive automation and standardisation through systems and tools to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Partner proactively with finance & business partners to enable transformation & value creation.

Requirements

  • CA preferred with strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FMCG/factory experience preferred).
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred), PowerPoint, and BI tools like Power BI, SAP Analytics, SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals, stakeholder management, and business partnering.
  • Familiarity with LEAN processes and tools.
  • Ability to work according to Nigeria time zone (12 PM – 9 PM) and willingness to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and South Africa.

Manager – Financial Control (FC) (5+ Years)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consolidated monthly performance reports, latest views, forecasts, and annual operating plan with business partners and governance teams.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and in-depth insights focusing on forward-looking analysis, emerging trends, and potential risks.
  • Lead development of annual budgets and forecasts ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse costs, identifying cost optimisation opportunities.
  • Evaluate projects/investments with financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Oversee internal controls, manage internal & external audits, and prepare complete financial statements for multiple SBUs.
  • Drive automation, standardisation, and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Partner with finance and business teams to support transformation initiatives and drive value creation.

Requirements

  • CA with strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Financial Control (FMCG/factory finance preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP (SAP preferred) and BI tools like Power BI, SAP Analytics, SQL.
  • Strong team management skills to handle and develop teams effectively.
