We are looking for a Video Editor to produce high-quality, engaging video content that elevates Scry AI’s brand presence and supports marketing, product, and corporate communications initiatives.

Role Overview

As a video Editor at Scry AI, you will edit and package videos for product explainers, social media, thought leadership, event highlights, customer stories, and internal communications. You will work closely with marketing, design, product, and leadership teams to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives. This role demands strong editing fundamentals, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver polished content at speed while maintaining brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing and Post-Production

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for LinkedIn, YouTube, website, ads, and internal use
• Assemble rough cuts into high-quality final deliverables with clean pacing, transitions, and storytelling
• Add motion elements, basic animations, lower-thirds, callouts, and on-screen text to improve clarity
• Sync and mix audio, clean up noise, and ensure clear voice + music balance

Branding and Visual Quality

• Maintain consistent visual style aligned with Scry AI brand guidelines (fonts, layouts, tone, pacing)
• Create engaging thumbnails, intros/outros, and brand bumpers where required
• Color correct and grade footage for a professional, consistent look
• Ensure videos are optimized for each platform (aspect ratios, captions, bitrates, lengths)

Collaboration and Delivery

• Work with stakeholders to understand objectives, audience, and key messaging for each video
• Coordinate with designers and content writers for scripts, storyboards, graphics, and captions
• Manage multiple edits and feedback rounds while meeting timelines
• Maintain an organized project structure, asset library, and version control

Content Efficiency and Scale

• Repurpose long videos into multiple short clips with strong hooks and retention-first edits
• Create templates for recurring formats (product updates, reels, webinar snippets, event recaps)
• Support fast-turnaround edits for launches, announcements, and social campaigns
• Assist in building a repeatable pipeline for video production and publishing

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2–5 years of experience as a Video Editor / Motion Editor / Content Editor
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent), and familiarity with After Effects
• Experience editing social-first content (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram) and understanding platform formats
• Solid knowledge of pacing, storytelling, sound design basics, and visual composition
• Ability to create clean motion graphics (lower thirds, titles, callouts) and basic animations
• Strong file management skills and comfort working with shared drives and structured workflows
• Good communication skills and the ability to incorporate feedback quickly and accurately

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/tech/B2B product videos or enterprise storytelling
• Familiarity with tools like DaVinci Resolve, Audition, Figma, or Canva
• Experience creating subtitles/captions and accessibility-friendly formats
• Understanding of performance metrics (retention, watch time) and how edits impact outcomes
