Job Description

As a Chief Engineer or Master Mariner with over 20 years of experience, you will be responsible for driving global business growth within the maritime sector. Your key responsibilities in this role include: - Expanding the fleet of Digitally managed vessels and acquiring more vessels under the digital platform. - Conducting sales activities such as prospecting and developing opportunities in large/medium-sized accounts. - Leading negotiations with customers to establish new Master Service Agreements. - Managing customer relationships, negotiating contracts, onboarding new vessels, and ensuring seamless integration of Hub solutions. - Ensuring pipeline accuracy based on evidence. - Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships. - Expanding knowledge of the industry and the competitive posture of the company. - Ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient delivery, wider user acceptance, and timely actions across a range of activities leading to project execution. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, your role will require the following qualifications and skillsets: - Working with reputed Vessel Operators/Technical Managers in an active sales role. - Being self-driven, effective as an individual contributor, and having led international business. - Having proven experience in acquiring vessels from owners and a strong network of relationships across owners and operators globally. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in driving active sales, customer success, client relationships, and revenue opportunities across regions like Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Middle East, and Europe. - Demonstrable experience of registering at least a few million dollars in top-line revenue year on year. - Excellent CXO level network in the maritime space across APAC, European, and UAE regions. - Good understanding of service and sales, with the ability to build valuable relationships and engage stakeholders. - Being tech and data-driven, with solid B2B sales and account management experience. - Flexibility to work with global customers, quick response time, and availability. - Proven track record of selling to large enterprise organizations and negotiating with executive/C-level stakeholders. - Understanding the commercial constellations between shipowners, technical managers, and operators in shipping. - Excellent team worker, strong communicator, self-motivated, and recognized as a self-starter. - Excellent written and spoken skills, with the ability to make presentations and product demos to decision-makers. - Prior experience in scale coordination and managing customer success. Education requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in marine sciences, engineering, and/or Business Administration from a globally reputed institution, along with an MBA from global management institutions. Some travel is expected, and knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.,
